As a musician and song writer, I am influenced by both my culture and the music from other cultures. Strong Medicine's colorful presentation includes Native languages, culture, stories, legends and the sounds of blues, rock, country, and powwow music. Students will hear original music, see traditional dance to contemporary music, learn about Native people and customs through traditional stories, and participate by singing and dancing. From the powwow drum to drum set, Strong Medicine is an evolution of arts and culture. NOTE: All programs are adaptable in time and age levels.
