Childrens Music 2009/2010
Music for Oneida Children offers girls and boys ages 6 to 13 an opportunity to study and perform a comprehensive repertoire of Iroquois social, hymns, folk, contemporary and classical music through two distinct groups.

The Children's Iroquois Singing group, directed by Kalana Brooks, will learn traditional Oneida songs and dance.
For ages: 6 to 13, meets on Tuesdays, 4:15 - 5:00 pm in Arts Program Cottage

The Oneida Children's Choir, directed by Amber Evey-Schmidt, will sing a variety of music include Oneida hymns, folk, classical and contemporary music. 
For ages: 6 to 13, meets on Tuesdays, 5:15-6:00 pm in the Arts Program Cottage

Children participating in both groups will be supervised and given a light snack between rehearsals.  Rehearsals begins Tuesday, October 20 - December 15; January 19 - March 15; and April 6 - May 25.

The groups will perform a concert in the spring. To register your child(ren) for one or both of the groups, please fill out the attached financial and application forms and return to the Arts Program.
