Summer 2010 College Student Jobs

ONAP announces student internships and VISTO (Volunteers In Service To Oneida) positions for college students during the summer of 2010.  College students interested in administrative jobs, art projects, and working with children may apply.  Following are the general job descriptions and work assignments for internships and VISTO positions:

1 General Arts Intern for 200 hours @ $9 per hour
1 Woodland Indian Arts Market and Show Intern for 200 hours @ $9 per hour
1 Yukhika Intern (you-key-gaw) a Native literary journal for 200 hours @ $9 per hour
3 Music for Oneida Children Camp Interns for  44 hours @ $9 per hour
6 Arts and Wellness Camp Interns (6 youth/a 44 hours @ 9 per hour
4 VISTO Workers for the Mosiac Arts Project for 3 weeks @ about 20 hours per week, $500 stipend.
4 VISTO Workers for the Painting/Design Public Art for 3 weeks @ about 20 hours per week, $500 stipend.

TO APPLY:  please submit the following 3 items to Oneida HRD Dept:  1.) Letter of interest, 2.) Resume, and 3.) Oneida Tribe of Indian’s HRD Application.  Positions will be open until filled.  Students will be selected based on their interests, availability, experience, and desires.  Start dates vary throughout the summer of 2010.
