Sunny E. Webster is from the Oneida Tribe in Wisconsn.

She was born and raised in Chicago so that plays a big part in her art.

What inspires her art are the traditional Indigenous images. She puts a contemporary spin on them, and then adds the designs to purses, garments, and other pieces of art. She also creates custom made garments and costumes for stage performers.
